Hello my fellow OUYAn and welcome to this week’s Weekly Recap!

This week we’ll feature only one game that is worth your time again but honestly this game is freakin amazing!
Let me present you Chess 2 – The Sequel by Ludene Games!
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would actually enjoy a game that’s based on the boring old Chess!
I can’t remember a time when I actually liked to play chess. But this is 100% different.
The tutorial was rather long but after starting my first round I knew why.
The traditional chess pieces had been taken as basis for 5 additional army types which all have their distinct advantages and disadvantages. I chose the animal army for my first match and was amazed how different the entire feel of this game was.
That is mostly due to the fact that now instead of having only one option to win this game you have two. You could either like in the traditional chess checkmate the king of your opponent or and that’s the new way invade the middleline with your king.
Therefore it’s harder for your opponent to guess what strategy you are playing.
Furthermore I really liked the new pieces in the new armies. While some pieces kept their original role and movement patterns, like the pawn or horse, the new pieces like the elephant are only slighty similar to their counterpiece like in this case the rook.
It’s really hard to pack all the intricacies into this Weekly Recap so just play the tutorial for yourself.
I think Chess 2 has the potential to take the gaming world without any resistance. It is absolutely brilliant, well balanced and the graphics + sound are absolutely appropriate and well made.
Oh and before I forget, you can also play this game online, with your buddy on the couch or against the computer. Brilliant!
I thoroughly thank Ludene Games for making this amazing game, which I’m sure I will eventually buy for the fair price of 5,99!

So that’s it folks. Again only one game but this game really rocked! I can’t wait for next week when another cool game is supposed to be released. See you then and as always thanks for watching. Byyyyeee.
