Brilliant
Who still remembers classics like Day of the Tentacle, the fantastic Monkey Island series or Brütal Legend? Ron Gilbert together with Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions (Brütal Legend, Psychonauts) just released The Cave for PC, Mac and some consoles. It is now ported to the OUYA. In this action adventure you play a team of three which you pick out of seven strange characters like a monk, a hillbilly or a time traveler. Your choice has great influence on the gameplay since every character has its own unique personality, story and secrets. In the beginning all players are dumped into the cave, which acts like a person and provides all of the game’s narration. You are going to explore a subterranean amusement park and a medieval castle. Switch between the three characters and solve lots of puzzles as you learn the truth behind why they are here. You can replay the whole adventure with a new set of characters for a different story, puzzles and levels.
Conclusion
The Cave reminds me of “The Dig”, one of my alltime favorites from the 90s. It’s funny, sarcastic and amusing. The puzzles are a bit too easy for old hands but really entertaining. There is just one thing I don’t like: that I have to play the game at least three times with different characters to see all the amazing designed levels. This could have been integrated somehow in the gameplay.
This game is definitely on my must-play list for the OUYA. Can’t wait to get it into my hands.

I supported this game on Kickstarter and so far it’s not disappointing! For iOS and Android I heard they’re dropping the price. they only doing $20 for the pc/Mac , mobile has to be less, regardless,
