Knightmare Tower

Splitting Monsters in half is fun!

If you get easily addicted to games this is nothing for you. I’m serious when I say that I dreamed of slaying monsters in this game the night after I played it for 2-3h the first time I came across it. Yes it is that good!

Your task is to free 10 princesses from some evil dude by reaching the top of a tower, and defeating him. You get launched up to speed by a rocket and reach the next stages by slaying monsters and escaping the rising lava from below.

Additionally you can improve your armour, weapons and items by gathering gold on every run for the top. It sounds simple, but it’s not.

Wonderful art work and animations give this game a very professional and at the same time appealing look.

Conclusion

What I love about this game is that it combines RPG elements like improving your armour and other items with the simple concept of a great platform game.

One thing that I’ve always hated is when these types of games don’t have an ending. Despite my inability to reach that end, Knightmare Tower does have one. This fuels my hunger to continue playing this game!

The controlls of a gamepad for KT are actually much better than the controls of your PC’s mouse and keyboard.

All in all, Knightmare Tower is easily one of the best games on the OUYA and even the team at OUYA loves it, as stated on Twitter. You will love this game, guaranteed.
